Inclusion Statement

At Juniper, our mission is to create artful products and share unique design ideas that spark creativity and confidence and that inspire our community to find joy and meaning in their homes and spaces. We have come to learn that the only way to successfully achieve our mission is to have a diverse and inclusive team, and to do a better job celebrating and supporting a more inclusive and diverse community of artists and influencers.

Artists:

Our goal is for a minimum of 15% of our commissioned artists to be people of color. Currently, 12.5% of the 40 artists in our shop identify as black, Indigenous and/or as people of color. We are actively working with additional wonderful, new BIPOC artists on commissioned prints to be released during 2021. Click here to see all print offerings from our BIPOC artists.

Influencers:

We target at least 30% of our annual influencer marketing budget to be allocated in support of diverse and minority influencers. In 2020, we spent approximately 50% of our influencer marketing budget on diverse influencers, a direction we look forward to continuing into 2021 and beyond.

Team Members:

Though our company is small, we are grateful for the opportunity to seek out and invest in employees with diverse backgrounds and ethnicities. As laid out on our Careers page, we are dedicated to creating an inclusive corporate environment and we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.

We are committed to recruiting, training, compensating and promoting our employees regardless of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, age, or veteran status. Our company goal is for people of color to make up at least 15% of our team members. Currently, 23% of our full-time employees are women of color.

We believe diversity and inclusion leads to a more beautiful world for everyone and we look forward to doing a better job with our part.
